This is a recreation of the shrimp from a famous restaurant in my home town, the <a href=\"https:\/\/seafood.rezeki.id\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rezeki Seafood Restaurant.<\/a> That being said, I would hesitate to call this an Indonesian recipe, and would says its more Asian fusion. I added my own twist with the addition of crushed corn flakes for extra crunch. A big difference in taste compared to American style butter shrimp comes from the addition of oyster sauce.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Warning this is not a health food recipe! I would recommend constantly checking the taste of your shrimp as you cook. If you&#8217;d like more saltiness, add more oyster sauce. If you&#8217;d like it to be sweeter, add sweet soy sauce or sugar.
